5 Things I Wish I Knew in Middle School

Speaking to middle school students, Lizzy discusses things that she wishes she understood at that age: You can’t erase the internet, drugs are way worse than I thought, a good friend is different than a good time, focusing on what truly matters, and the best way to not be alone is to make sure no one else is.

The Truth About Foster Care

Meant to inspire the audience to get involved advocating for children in foster care with a strong focus on potential foster parents and court appointed special advocates. Lizzy dives into the myths and misconceptions about foster care while sharing what foster care truly looks like and how it can still improve.

Avoiding the Trap

Great for NOVA and DARE assemblies, Lizzy uses age-appropriate stories to explain the dangers of substance abuse. Addiction is a subject that should be handled with empathy and compassion. With 1 in 35 children living in a household with at least one parent struggling with a drug use disorder. Lizzy shares a message of caution, strength, and compassion regarding this difficult subject.
